The Relay Does The Moving
The Ajax Relay connects to the low-voltage terminals on your garage door operator — the same terminals the wall button uses. A tap in the Ajax app tells the relay to pulse, and the door opens or closes. Because the relay lives inside your Ajax system, it can also be driven by a scene: close the garage when you arm the alarm, or as part of a "leaving home" routine.
The Sensor Tells The Truth
Control alone is not enough — you need to know the door actually did what you asked. The DoorProtect Plus reports the door's real position, so the app always shows open or closed for certain, pushes a notification the moment it changes, and can flag a door that moves while you are away. Together, control and awareness make the garage a real part of the system, not a blind spot.
