LISA — Dual-Sensor Correlation Algorithm
LISA (Level Identification Signal Algorithm) requires both PIR sensors to simultaneously detect identical motion before an alarm is raised. When the system is armed, the detector continuously reads both sensors and compares their signals. If only one sensor triggers — an animal, a swaying branch, a heat shimmer — no alarm. Only when both sensors agree that a human-sized heat source is moving through the detection zone does the system alert. Alarm delivery to the hub takes under 0.15 seconds.
🚫 Active Anti-Masking — Always On
MotionProtect Outdoor's anti-masking system calibrates automatically on installation by analyzing the surrounding environment. From that point on, it actively monitors for obstacles placed in front of the lenses, paint applied over the sensors, or opaque material stuck to the detector body. Anti-masking is always active regardless of whether the system is armed or disarmed — a burglar who tries to blind the detector before triggering an alarm will trigger a masking alarm instead.
