Rivas Technology Group offers one monitoring plan and it is available to Washington State residents only. Can I add monitoring to my cart? The Ajax Hub 2 Plus connects wirelessly to each sensor over encrypted Jeweller radio. When a sensor detects intrusion the hub signals out over cellular LTE or Ethernet while the outdoor StreetSiren sounds. On a monitored system in Washington, that signal reaches a UL-listed central station, which verifies the alarm and dispatches police. What does monitoring cover? Intrusion only. There is no fire, smoke, carbon monoxide, water, or medical monitoring on this plan, and no central station dispatch for any of those events. What happens outside Washington? The system is self-monitored through the Ajax app at no monthly cost. Alarms notify you and anyone else you add to the system on their phones, and the sirens still sound. No central station and no third party is notified, and nobody is dispatched. The system is fully functional either way; the monitoring plan is the only difference. Are home security systems worth it? Ajax equipment is owned rather than leased, requires no 36-month contract, installs in about an hour, and expands over time on the same hub and app. How many door sensors are included? One. What $44.99/Month Actually Buys
Our monitoring is the real thing: an alarm reaches a UL-listed central station, an operator verifies it, and police are dispatched. Month-to-month. No contract. No early termination fee. Cancel and you keep every piece of hardware.
The three limits, up front, because you'll find out eventually anyway:
1. Intrusion only. The plan covers break-ins. It does not monitor fire, smoke, carbon monoxide, or water, and nobody is dispatched for those. Add those detectors and they alert you — not a station.
2. Washington State only. That's where we're licensed to do it. Outside Washington this kit is self-monitored through the Ajax app at no monthly cost — every alarm still hits your phone, and the StreetSiren outside still does its job on the neighbors, which is most of what stops a burglary anyway. It just doesn't reach a third party. The hardware is identical and nothing is crippled.

One Door Sensor. On Purpose.
A four-bedroom house has more than one door, and this kit has one DoorProtect Plus. That is a design decision, not an oversight: the two motion detectors cover the rooms an intruder has to walk through regardless of which opening they used, and the entry sensor goes on the door they'll most likely try. Sensors on every opening is a different, more expensive philosophy — and for most houses it buys less than people expect.
If you want per-opening coverage anyway, DoorProtect Plus is $105 and adds to the same hub in a minute.
