How It Works
Bidirectional Coverage
ELSA (Enhanced Level Signal Algorithm) requires both PIR sensors in the same optical system to simultaneously detect human motion before raising an alarm. It then analyzes signal similarity and spectral patterns between the two sensors to confirm the detection is a person — not thermal interference, wind, or an animal. ELSA reaches its verdict in under one second — fast enough to catch any intruder, precise enough to ignore everything else.
🎯 Patented: Near Area Detection
Standard curtain detectors have a blind spot directly in front of the device — an intruder who crawls close to the wall can pass undetected. DualCurtain Outdoor eliminates this with Near Area Detection: the upper PIR sensor gains an additional narrow viewing sector angled 40° downward, covering the zone immediately in front of the detector's body. This technology is patented by Ajax Systems and is unique to the DualCurtain Outdoor.
