Ajax states that Relay Jeweller, WallSwitch, Socket (type B), LifeQuality Jeweller, LeaksProtect Jeweller and Ajax WaterStop Jeweller each require an Ajax hub to operate. Socket (type B) additionally requires a compatible hub running OS Malevich 2.18 or later and is not compatible with Hub (2G) Jeweller or with third-party security control panels. LightSwitch is the exception: Ajax states LightSwitch can be used without adding it to a hub, and in that mode it works like a regular touch switch. Without a hub you lose app control, remote control, schedules and automation scenarios, but the switch still turns the light on and off. Do the light switches need a neutral wire? No. Ajax states LightSwitch does not require a neutral wire and works only from the power phase. Ajax also states the neutral wire must not be connected to the LightSwitch terminals, as this can damage the device. A qualified electrician should install it. No. LifeQuality measures carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity and reports the readings; it does not control heating or cooling on its own. Paired with a hub, it can trigger Ajax automation devices such as WallSwitch, Relay or Socket through scenarios. Do these work with the alarm? Yes.
